Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0169163A2] A hot water boiler has a cylindrical combustion chamber (2) with an axially aligned burner (1). The combustion chamber is surrounded by two co-axial water chambers (3,4) provided with outlet (5) and return (6) pipes. The annular space (10) between the two water chambers forms the flue for the combustion gases and is fitted with ribbed panels (11) with the ribs facing the inner wall (8) of the outer water chamber (3).
