[origin: WO8502994A1] An animal pen comprises an animal receiving structure (11) having door means adjacent the rear end (15) of the structure to enable the animal to enter the pen (10), first fluid operated power means (52) to actuate an advancing means (29a, 29b) which is adapted to engage the rear of the animal to urge the animal forwardly in the structure (11), second fluid operated power means (40) to actuate yoke means (35) which are adapted to close around a front part, for example, around the neck of the animal to restrain the front part from movement.

Un enclos d'animal comporte une structure de réception d'animal (11) dotée d'un mécanisme de porte près de l'extrémité arrière (15) de la structure pour permettre à l'animal d'entrer dans l'enclos (10), un premier mécanisme de puissance actionné par fluide (52) pour actionner un mécanisme d'avancement (29a, 29b) conçu pour engager l'arrière de l'animal afin de forcer celui-ci à avancer dans la structure (11), un second mécanisme de puissance actionné par fluide (40) pour actionner un mécanisme de joug (35) conçu pour entourer une partie frontale, par exemple, le cou de l'animal afin d'empêcher la partie frontale de bouger.
