A skiing boot comprising a shell (1), which constitutes a sole (2), and at least one lining piece (3), which is disposed within the shell (1) in the forefoot region and comprises at least one flap (4), which extends along one side wall (6) of the shell (1) towards the sole (2) and serves to laterally retain the foot and is adjustable relative to the shell (1) by an adjusting drive (7), characterized in that the side wall (6) of the shell (1) comprises a run-up surface (3) for the flap (4) of the lining piece (3), which run-up surface extends inwardly towards the sole (2), and the lining piece (3) is adjustable inside the shell (1) for a movement of the flap (4) along the run-up surface (5) by the adjusting mechanism (7).
