Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0151018A2] Absorbent laminates, which may be used as or in diapers, incontinence pads, sanitary napkins, tampons or wound dressings, comprise a hydrophilic layer (1) adjacent a water-permeable fibrous web (3). Fluid-transporting wicks extend from within the fibrous web into the hydrophilic layer, and are preferably formed by needling. The hydrophilic layer is preferably a peat moss composite board, and the fibrous web is preferably a nonwoven polyester fleece.

Laminés absorbants, pouvant être utilisés en tant que couches, serviettes hygiéniques ou contre l'incontinence, tampons ou pansements, ou dans ces articles, comprenant une couche hydrophile (1) adjacente à une bande fibreuse perméable à l'eau (3). Des mèches transportant les fluides s'étendent depuis l'intérieur de la bande fibreuse jusque dans la couche hydrophile, et sont formées de préférence par aiguilletage. La couche hydrophile se compose de préférence d'une plaque composite en mousse de tourbe et la bande fibreuse est de préférence une couche de voile en polyester non tissé.
