1. A folding machine for folding sheets of paper of paper-type sheet material, comprising a plurality of folding rolls (7, 8, 9, 10), the ends of which are mounted rotatably in a machine frame (5) which is provided in the area of the front ends of the rolls (7, 8, 9, 10) with an aperture (17), at least one roll (9 ; 8 ; 10) of each folding roll pair (8, 9 ; 7, 8 ; 7, 10) being supported displaceably and adjustably in relation to the associated second roll (8 ; 7 ; 7) of the pair with respect to the distance between the axes of rotation by means of a bearing member (11, 12, 13, 14), which comprises an anchoring portion (11a, 12a, 13a, 14a) fastened detachably to the machine frame (5) and a guide portion (11b, 12b, 13b, 14b) receiving the shaft ends (23) of the rolls (7, 8, 9, 10) and overlapping the associated aperture (17), characterized in that the size of the aperture (17) corresponds at least to the whole axial lateral projection area of the relevant plurality of rolls, optionally including associated auxiliary members, and in that the guide portions (12b, 13b, 14b) of all the bearing members (12, 13, 14) receiving the adjustable rolls (9 ; 8 ; 10) of a roll pair (8, 9 ; 7, 8 ; 7, 10) are arranged detachably and adjustably in relation to distance on the associated anchoring portions (12a, 13a, 14a) of the bearing members.

Eine Faltmaschine zum Falten von Papierbogen oder dgl. umfasst ein Walzenaggregat (1) mit mehreren, zwischen zwei Lagerplatten (5) drehbar gelagerten Faltwalzen (7, 8, 9, 10). Damit jede einzelne der Walzen leicht ausgewechselt werden kann, sind die Lagerplatten (5) mit Durchbrechungen (7) versehen, die teilweise durch die Walzenenden aufnehmende Lagerglieder (11, 12, 13, 14) übergriffen werden. Durch einfaches Entfernen dieser Lagerglieder können die Walzen somit durch die Durchbrechungen hindurch einzeln aus dem Walzenaggregat herausgezogen und ausgewechselt werden.
