Abstract (en)
The apparatus is of the type incorporating batteries (6) of inclined condenser tubes. These batteries (6) form an inverted V in pairs. A feeder pipe (7) for the vapour which is to be condensed is arranged at the apex of the inverted V and supplies vapour to the said batteries (6). There is at least one motor-driven fan unit (10) situated under the said batteries (6) at the base of the inverted V. The apparatus includes a metal frame (2) forming a lattice girder extending in a horizontal longitudinal direction and having a triangular transverse cross-section. This frame has two inclined sides (3, 4) and a horizontal base (5). The two inclined sides (3, 4) support the said batteries (6) and the base (5) supports the motor- driven fan unit or units (10). <IMAGE>
