Abstract (en)

The crankshaft grinder for diesel or petrol engines has the axis of the crankshaft (13,14) clear of the horizontal plane (- P) passing diametrally through the grinder wheel shaft (5). Instead, it is in a plane such as to form an angle alpha with this plane of between 10 and 60 deg., preferably 30 deg. The dressing wheels (16) for the grinder wheels can also be in a plane similarly inclined, but in the opposite direction (B).

On prévoit une rectifieuse à plusieurs meules (M1, M2, M3, M4, M5) où la pièce à usiner est placée devant un diamètre des meules qui forme un angle (α) compris entre 10° et 60° avec un plan horizontal (P-P), De préférence, la meule pour le dressage forme elle aussi un angle (β) similaire au précédent, mais en direction opposée, avec le plan horizontal (P-P). On prévoit aussi un support (2) pouvant être éloigné pour l'arbre porte-meules (5), de manière à permettre le démontage et le remontage des meules rectifieuses (M1, M2, M3, M4, M5).
