Abstract (en)
A mastfoot connection for a surfboard whose mast has an axially extending, round mastfoot pin which has a conically tapering tip, can be inserted in a round receptacle in the surfboard and has a groove or the like in its circumferential surface above its conical taper, in which groove a locking element can engage which is spring-loaded radially inwards and is arranged in a recess of the wall of the receptacle. The object of the invention is to design the mastfoot connection in such a way that the mast can be separated from the surfboard at will by simpler manipulation. This is achieved by the groove (8) extending over a section of the periphery of the mastfoot pin (2). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Mastfußhalterung für ein Segelbrett, dessen Mast einen sich axial erstreckenden, runden Mastfußzapfen mit einer sich konisch verjüngenden Spitze aufweist, der in eine runde Aufnahme im Segelbrett steckbar ist und in seiner Mantelfläche oberhalb seiner konischen Verjüngung eine Nut oder dergleichen aufweist, in die ein Sperrelement einrastbar ist, das unter einer radial einwärts gerichteten Federspannung steht und in einer Aussparung der Wandung der Aufnahme angeordnet ist. Es ist der Zweck der Erfindung, die Mastfußhalterung so auszugestalten, daß die willkürliche Trennung des Mastes vom Segelbrett mit einer einfacheren Handhabung zu erreichen ist. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß die Nut (8) sich über einen Teilbereich des Umfangs des Mastfußzapfens (2) erstreckt.
