[origin: EP0170954A2] A profiling installation with at least one profiling machine (1), which has an exchangeable tool carrier (4), can be retooled fully automatically by the provision of a storage magazine (6) for a plurality of tool carriers (4) each equipped with different forming tools (5) and of a conveying device (8) for conveying the tool carriers (4) and of a programmed control into which the storage of the individual tool carriers (4) in the storage magazine (6) relative to the arrangement of the profiling machine (1) is programmed. The same provisions can be made for a cutting-off machine (10) arranged in continuation of the profiling machine (1). In this way, the tool change can be accomplished fully automatically in accordance with the programming of the programmed control. <IMAGE>
