Abstract (en)

A spark plug with an improved radio noise suppression effect. A magnetic substance is added to the resistor of the spark plug to enhance its absorption of high frequency radio currents. The resistor is made of a sintered material comprising, by weight, 0.2-0.6% carbon, 25-75% glass of which softening temperatures are 300-600 DEG C and grain sizes are 10-500 mu m, 0.4-40% magnetic substance and a binder constituting the rest. A current path made of carbon is formed in a zigzag shape around the glass and magnetic substance in the resistor.
