[origin: WO8503756A1] A hose, in particular a garden hose of the flat type which may be rolled into a planar roll with successive turns concentrically arranged one on top of the other. The hose has an inner tube (10) of extruded plastics material with two opposed outwardly extending longitudinal flanges (11, 12) and an outer tube (13) of woven fabric formed in one or two pieces (14, 15), attached to the inner tube (10) by stitched seams (16) extending along the flanges. A connector comprising a frusto-conical insert member (18), a split collar (17) with mating surfaces (24) to clamp the flanges (11, 12) therebetween and a clamping nut (19) locking over the collar (17) and screwing onto the upper threaded portion (23) of the insert. A method of manufacturing the hose by sewing and a hose with a single flange are included.

Tuyau, en particulier un tuyau de jardin de type plat, pouvant être enroulé en un rouleau planaire dont les enroulements successifs sont disposés concentriquement les uns au-dessus des autres. Le tuyau comporte un tube intérieur (10) en matériau plastique extrudé avec deux rebords longitudinaux opposés (11, 12) s'étendant vers l'extérieur et un tube extérieur (13) en tissu formé en une ou deux pièces (14, 15), fixé au tube intérieur (10) par des coutures (16) s'étendant le long des rebords. Raccord comportant un organe d'insertion tronconique (18), un manchon en deux pièces (17) avec des surfaces d'accouplement (24) pour serrer les rebords (11, 12) entre elles et un écrou de serrage (19) se bloquant sur le manchon (17) et se vissant sur la partie filetée supérieure (23) de l'organe d'insertion. Procédé de fabrication du tuyau par couture et tuyau avec rebord unique.
