With the aid of a series of turns (8) wound around the high-tension cable (9) which supplies the distributor, a signal is obtained whose value is proportional to the number of revolutions per minute. This signal is compared with a reference signal in a comparator (16) which controls a logic circuit (3) which in turn causes the deactivation of an electrovalve (6) inserted in the idling channel, this occurring when the number of revolutions of the engine exceeds a certain value and when simultaneously the driver releases the accelerator pedal (4). In all other cases the logic circuit (3) enables activation of the electrovalve (6) and normal operation of the engine. <IMAGE>

A l'aide d'une série de spires (8) enroulées autour du câble à haute tension (9) qui alimente le distributeur, on obtient un signal dont la valeur est proportionnelle an nombre de tours/minute. Ce signal est confronté avec un signal de référence dans un comparateur (16) qui commande un circuit logique (3), lequel intervient à son tour pour provoquer la désexcitation d'une électrovanne (6) insérée sur la canalisation de ralenti, et ce dans le cas où le nombre de tours du moteur dépasse une certaine valeur et dans le cas où simultanément le conducteur a relâché la pédale d'accélérateur (4). Dans tous les autres cas le circuit logique (3) permet l'excitation de l'électrovanne (6) et le fonctionnement normal du moteur.
