1. Plank for scaffolding in the form of a longitudinally drawn light metal box section (1) constructed symmetrically with respect to all three co-ordinate axes (x, y, z) with longitudinally extending reinforcing webs (5) constructed in one piece with the upper wall (2) and lower wall (3), furthermore with alternate longitudinally extending projections (12, 14) and recesses (13, 15) provided on the upper and lower wall for preventing slipping and with connecting means (6, 7, 8, 9) for attachment to the scaffolding, the box section (1) extending in one piece over the entire width of a conventional plank and the two side walls (4) being constructed with a smooth surface, characterised in that the end faces of the box section (1) are open, that the projections (12) and recesses (13) have a trapezoidal cross-section so that the transition surfaces (16) formed in this way between the projections and recesses extend at an angle of approximately 60 degrees with respect to the horizontal surfaces of the projections (12) and recesses (13), that the trapezoidal projections (12, 14) and recesses (13, 15) are constructed both on the outer as well as inner surfaces of the upper and lower horizontal walls (2, 3) of the box section (1) so that the wall thickness is substantially constant and that the connecting means consist of tubular members (6, 7, 8, 9), the ends of which are welded to the edges of bores (10) in the region of the four corners of the upper and lower horizontal walls (2, 3).

Baugerüste sind in bekannter Weise mit Bohlen ausgestattet, die in Etagen übereinander angebracht sind, um den Arbeitern das Begehen des Baugerüstes zu ermöglichen. Um eine Bohle zu schaffen, die einfach herstellbar und anwendbar ist, die ferner einen geringen Widerstand gegen Windeinflüsse bietet und sich leicht reinigen läßt, wird vorgeschlagen, daß als Profil ein auf dem Umfang, mit Ausnahme der Stirnseiten, allseitig geschlossenes Kastenprofil (1) gewählt ist, welches im mittleren Bereich mindestens eine längsverlaufende Verstärkungsrippe (5) aufweist, und welches in bezug auf alle drei Koordinatenachsen (x, y) symmetrisch ausgebildet ist, und daß an den Ecken des Kastenprofiles (1) Anschlußmittel (6) für die Befestigung mit dem Baugerüst vorgesehen sind.
