The invention relates to a coloured rod, in particular a round rod, made of transparent plastic material, optionally coloured with a fluorescent dye, in particular acrylic glass. The object of the invention is to design the material of the rod in such a manner that its light effects are improved against a dark or absent background. This object is achieved in that the rod contains a region (5) of an opaque material extending in the longitudinal direction which may optionally be additionally coloured with a dye. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft einen eingefärbten Stab, insbesondere Rundstab, aus transparentem, gegebenenfalls mit einem fluoreszierenden Farbstoff eingefärbten Kunststoff materials, insbesondere Acrylglas. Es ist Aufgabe der Erfindung, das Stabmaterial derart zu gestalten, daß seine Lichteffekte vor dunklem oder fehlenden Hintergrund verbessert werden. Die Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, daß der Stab einen in Längsrichtung verlaufenden Bereich (5) eines opakem Materials enthält, das gegebenenfalls zusätzlich mit einem Farbstoff eingefärbt ist.
