[origin: US4671593A] A microconnector is used for connecting electrodes placed on a support and which are insulated from one another to the same number of conductors as there are electrodes and comprises a means for the elastic gripping of the support and flexible, elastic conductor wires, whose number is the same as that of the electrodes for connecting to the latter, which are insulated from one another and from the gripping means and which are fixed to the latter in such a way that each of them can come into contact with a single electrode when the support is gripped by the gripping means. Application is to low temperature electrical connections and to high density connections in a reduced space.

Microconnecteur à haute densité de contacts. Il est prévu pour connecter des électrodes (2) disposées sur un support (4) et isolées les unes des autres, à des conducteurs (6) en nombre égal à celui des électrodes et comprend un moyen (10) de pincement élastique du support et des fils conducteurs (12) souples et élastiques, en nombre égal à celui des électrodes, destinés à être reliés à ces dernières, isolés les uns des autres et du moyen de pincement, et fixés sur ce dernier de telle façon que chacun d'eux puisse entrer en contact avec une électrode et un seule lorsque le support est pincé par le moyen de pincement. Application aux connexions électriques à basse température et aux connexions de haute densité dans une escape réduit.
