The structure comprises at least one column (24, 25) fixed at its upper part beneath a horizontal beam (22) resting on a building (20), and connected at its lower part to a rigid horizontal element (30). The vertical column (24, 25) is connected to the beam (22) via linking means permitting a displacement of the structure in the event of an earthquake in two main directions of the horizontal plane. The linking means are associated with at least one rigidification element ensuring the rigid behaviour of the structure in normal operation and capable of yielding in the event of an earthquake. The invention applies, in particular, to the spent fuel pit bridge of a pressurised-water nuclear reactor. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne une structure métallique élancée à protection anti-sismique. Elle comporte au moins une colonne (24, 25) fixée à sa partie supérieure sous une poutre horizontale (22) reposant sur un bâtiment (20) et reliée à un élément horizontal rigide (30) à sal partie inférieure. La colonne verticale (24, 25) est reliée à la poutre (22) par l'intermédiaire de moyens de liaison permettant un déplacement de la structure en cas de séisme dans deux directions principales du plan horizontal. Les moyens de liaison sont associés à au moins un élément de rigidification assurant le comportement rigide de la structure en marche normale et susceptible de s'effacer en cas de séisme. L'invention s'applique, en particulier, au pont-passerelle du bâtiment du combustible s'un réacteur nucléaire à eau sous pression.
