[origin: WO8503791A1] A warning device comprising two circuits for connection respectively to an AC and a DC supply. A first switch (4) in series with a triggerable switch means (8 and 9) in the first circuit. The first switch (4) is rendered non-conductive by the application of AC to the first circuit. An orientation sensing means (10) which will dependent upon its orientation trigger or fail to trigger the triggerable switching means (8 and 9). An alarm (6) which is energised when the triggerable switching means (8 and 9) is triggered and the first switch (4) is conductive. Latching means activated by triggering of the switching means (8 and 9) to maintain the alarm (6) operating irrespective of the orientation of the sensing means (10).

Dispositif d'avertissement comportant deux circuits pour une connexion respectivement à une alimentation en courant alternatif et en courant continu. Un premier commutateur (4) est monté en série avec un mécanisme de commutation déclenchable (8 et 9) dans le premier circuit. Le premier commutateur (4) est rendu non conducteur par l'application de courant alternatif au premier circuit. Un mécanisme de détection d'orientation (10), dépendant de son orientation, déclenche ou ne déclenche pas le mécanisme de commutation déclenchable (8 et 9). Une alarme (6) est mise sous tension lorsqu'est déclenché le mécanisme de commutation déclenchable (8 et 9) et le premier commutateur (4) est conducteur. Un mécanisme de blocage est activé par le déclenchement du mécanisme de commutation (8 et 9) pour maintenir l'alarme (6) en fonctionnement sans tenir compte de l'orientation du mécanisme de détection (10).
