1. Foldable deckchair comprising a plurality of interconnected members made of wood, synthetic plastic material or metal, which form a plurality of individual frameworks rigid in themselves and constitute the lateral load-bearing units (3, 4) of the chair, the actual useful surface being secured therebetween, each lateral load-bearing unit (3, 4) consisting of an elongated back member (11) to the central region of which there is pivotably attached an arm rest member (14) consisting of two pivotably connected individual members, a supporting member (20) consisting of two pivotably connected individual members being attached pivotably to the lower end of the back member (11), a front member (19) being provided which in its lower region is attached pivotably to the supporting member (20), and the two lateral load-bearing units (3, 4) thus formed being connected to one another at least by transverse bars (28, 29) which are secured detachably but in securely held manner to the lateral load-bearing units (3, 4) and which hold the cloth seat (2) which is formed as the useful surface, characterised in that the two individual members (15, 16) of the arm rest member (14) are of the same length, the two pivotably interconnected individual members (21, 22) of the supporting member (20) are of the same length, the front member (19) is attached pivotably in its upper region to the front individual member (16) of the arm rest member (14), and in the region of the pivot bearing (17) of the individual members (15, 16) of the arm rest members (14) the supporting member (20) abuts one the underside of the arm rest members (14) and is lockable thereat.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein zusammenlegbares Sitzmöbel aus einer Vielzahl miteinander verbundener Stableisten aus Holz, Kunststoff oder Metall, wobei die Stäbe eine Vielzahl von in sich steifen Einzelfachwerken bilden, die die beiden seitlichen Tragelemente (3, 4) des Sitzmöbels schaffen, zwischen denen die eigentliche Nutzfläche (2) aufgespannt ist, wobei jedes seitliche Tragelement (3, 4) aus einer langgestreckten Rückenstableiste (11) besteht, in deren mittleren Bereich schwenkbar eine Armlehnenstableiste (14) angreift, die aus zwei gleiche Länge aufweisenden, gelenkig miteinander verbundenen Einzelstableisten (14, 16) gebildet ist, wobei am unteren Ende der Rückenstableiste (11) eine Stützstableiste (20) gelenkig angreift, die ebenfalls aus zwei gelenkig miteinander verbundenen Einzelstableisten (21, 22) gebildet ist und schließlich eine Frontstableiste (19) vorgesehen ist, die in ihrem oberen Bereich gelenkig an der frontseittgen Einzelstableiste (16) der Armlehnenstableiste (14) angreift und in ihrem unteren Bereich gelenkig an der vorderen Einzelstableiste (22) der Stützstableiste (20) angreift und die beiden so gebildeten seitlichen Tragelemente (3,4) wenigstens über Querleisten (28, 29, 30) miteinander verbunden sind, die abnehmbar aber ortsfest arretierbar von den seitlichen Tragelementen (3, 4) getragen werden und außerdem den als Nutzfläche (2) ausgebildeten Tuchsitz halten.
