The contact points of the switchgear are situated in an argon-filled expulsion chamber and, apart from any minor additions of one or more metals used as sintering aid or wetting aid, are composed of 35 to 75% by volume of tungsten or molybdenum and 0 to 12% by volume of one or more elements from the group comprising tellurium, antimony and bismuth, the remainder being copper.

Die Kontaktstücke des Schaltgerätes befinden sich mit einer in Argon gefüllten Schaltkammer und bestehen - abgesehen von ggfs. vorhandenen geringfügigen Zusätzen eines oder mehrerer als Sinterhilfe oder Benetzungshilfe dienender Metalle - aus 35 bis 75 Vol.% Wolfram oder Molybdän und 0 bis 12 Vol.% eines oder mehrerer Elemente aus der Gruppe Tellur, Antimon und Wismut, zum Rest aus Kupfer.
