1. An optical graduated indicator device for domestic appliances, in particular cookers and ovens, in which a light-regulating or light-damping element (10) can be rotated in a rigid light-reflecting housing (5) by turning the selector switch (2), the rotary selector switch (2) is coupled with an illuminated indicator disk (9) situated behind the fascia panel (1), whereby the indicator disk (9) is visible through a transparent section (3) of the fascia panel (1), and a ring-shaped light-regulating or light-damping element (10) partially obstructs the passage of light between the light source (7) and the visible indicator disk (9) such that at a higher setting the intensity of the light or colour at the surface of the indicator disk (9) increases, characterised in that the light-regulating or light-damping element (10) and the indicator disk (9) form a cylindrical unit (8) which is coupled to the shaft (2') of the rotary selector switch (2).

Eine optische Schaltstufenanzeige für mit Drehwahlschaltern (2) ausgestattete Haushaltsgeräte, insbesondere Herde, besitzt ein Lichtänderungs- bzw. Lichtdämpfungselement (10), so daß die verschiedenen Schaltstufen durch unterschiedliche Farb- oder Licht-intensität kenntlich gemacht werden.
