A multipole electric connector comprising a front cap (1) in which a cable clamp (2) is mounted and a rear cap (3) cooperating with the front cap and with the cable clamp, characterized in that the cable clamp (2) is provided with at least two fins (13) connected at their rear end by at least one resilient means for centering the cable and each having a face (14) for clamping said cable parallel to the central axis of the cable clamp, at least one flat surface (15) for securing against rotation and translational sliding cooperating with the rear part of the front cap (1) and at least one securing means on said front cap formed at the front end of said fins.
