[origin: ES8704033A1] An electromagnetic assembly including an electromagnetic coil wound on a core of ferromagnetically conductive material. A temperature protection circuit includes a fuse which breaks when the electromagnetic assembly becomes overheated. The fuse is thermally coupled to pole pieces of the assembly and is in electrical circuit with the coil.
