An appropriate amount of various powdered waxes are taken from individual containers and placed in a mixer container (4) with a perforated lid (5), the latter container being used to dust the lower surface of the skis (7) to be waxed, an iron or the like is used to melt the layer obtained and the excess is removed with a conventional scraper. <IMAGE>

Suivant l'invention on prélève, à partir de récipients individuels, une quantité appropriée de farts en poudre différents qui sont introduits dans un récipient mélangeur (4) à couvercle perforé (5), à l'aide duquel on saupoudre la face inférieure des skis (7) à farter, au moyen d'un fer à repasser ou équivalent on fait fondre la couche obtenue, et l'on élimine l'excédent avec un râcle usuel.
