[origin: WO8504096A1] Implant for the operative correction of spinal column curvatures, configured as a bar (1) to be arranged in the arched spinal column region and susceptible of being pressure-charged, with two hooks (2,7) to be secured thereto and to be hooked each to the arch of a vertebra, enabling to introduce between two vertebrae a pre-stress adjustable traction force which stretches the spinal column segment delimited by said vertebrae. In order to avoid that the traction force decreases in an unacceptable way following the relaxation of the vertebrae, which would affect the success of the treatment, the present invention proposes to connect at least one hook (2) to the bar (1) via a spring element (3) determining the traction force. Its spring force should be constant throughout the major part of the spring stroke.

Implant pour la correction opérative des courbures de la colonne vertébrale, ayant la forme d'une barre (1) à placer dans la région de la colonne vertébrale arquée et pouvant être chargée par pression, avec deux crochets (2, 7) à fixer à celle-ci et à accrocher chacun à l'arc d'une vertèbre, permettant l'introduction dans les deux vertèbres d'une force d'étirage réglable par pré-contrainte, force qui étire le segment de la colonne vertébrale délimité par ces vertèbres. Afin d'éviter que la force d'étirage diminue de façon inacceptable suite à la relaxation des vertèbres, ce qui remettrait en question le succès du traitement, la présente invention propose de relier au moins un crochet (2) à la barre (1) par le biais d'un élément de ressort (3) déterminant la force d'étirage. Sa force de ressort doit de préférence être pratiquement constante sur la plus grande partie de la course de ressort.
