[origin: WO8504180A1] Light construction stopper for coke oven doors in horizontal chamber coking ovens comprising box-like, heat resistant metal hollow bodies which are secured to the door body and which may be filled with an insulating material having a low specific weight. The present invention provides to arrange in the longitudinal direction of the chamber, between the door body (1) and the filling of the chamber (5), one or a plurality of hollow bodies (6, 7) which are releasibly interconnected, and to provide their side outer walls (8, 9) with inward curvatures in the direction of the middle of the chamber to form vertical gas pressure compensating channels (10) between the chamber walls (11) and the hollow bodies (5, 7).

Bouchon de construction légère pour portes de fours à coke dans des fours de cokéfaction à chambre horizontale, se composant de corps creux métalliques, résistant à la chaleur, en forme de caisses, qui sont fixés au corps de porte et peuvent être remplis d'un matériau isolant de faible poids spécifique. La présente invention prévoit de disposer dans la direction longitudinale de la chambre, entre le corps de porte (1) et le remplissage de chambre (5), un ou plusieurs corps creux (6, 7) reliés entre eux de manière libérable et de doter leurs parois extérieures latérales (8, 9) de courbures dirigées vers l'intérieur en direction du milieu de la chambre pour former des canaux verticaux de compensation de la pression de gaz (10) entre les parois de la chambre (11) et les corps creux (6, 7).
