1. Method for the production of a hairpiece which as a top layer comprises a structure of mesh material or foil adapted to the head shape (14) with hairs (6) fastened to it and projecting upwards out of it and as a bottom layer (3) has at least in the face area (15), a marginal portion (4) of foil and/or fabric, hairs (5) which project forwards out of the hairpiece (1), being secured between the top and bottom layers (2, 3) characterized in that the forwardly projecting hairs (5) are separate from the upwardly projecting hairs (6) and are initially joined to the underside (16) of the top layer (2) and that in further operation, the bottom layer (3) forming the marginal portion (4) and consisting of a hardenable fluid foil or a solid adhesive foil or fabric, is bonded to the hairs (5) secured on the underside (16) of the top layer (2).

Bie dem Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Montur (1), die als Oberschicht ein der Kopfform (14) angepaßtes Gebilde aus Maschenware oder Folie aufweist und als Unterschicht (3) mindestens im Gesichtsbereich (5) eine Randzone (4) sind zwischen der Ober- und Unterschicht (2, 3) Haare (5) befestigt, die nach vorn aus der Montur (1) herausragen. Es werden die nach vorn herausragenden Haare (5) zuerst von unten (16) mit der Oberschicht (2) verbunden, und in einem weiteren Arbeitsgang eine Klebestelle (7) auf die auf der Montur befestigten Haare aufgebracht, wobei diese Klebestelle gleichzeitig die Randzone (4) bzw. Unterschicht (3) bildet. Damit wird eine besonders verstärkte und dehnungsstabile Randzone ausgebildet. Es sind hierbei keinerlei Außenkanten der Ober- und/oder Unterschicht erkennbar, so daß sich ein natürliches Aussehen ergibt.
