[origin: EP0173968A2] A connecting device (21) for connecting the front part (17) and the end part (18) of a wish-bone (12) adjustable in length is specified. The connecting device (21) has a pivotable lever element (28) which carries a pin (32) on a lever arm (31). The pin (32) passes through openings (37, 38) in the telescoped sections (19, 20) of front part (17) and end part (18). In the other pivoted position of the lever element (28), the pin (32) is disengaged from at least the opening (38) in the end section (20) of the end part (18). The pin (32) has a recess (36) in which an edge of the opposite opening (38) of one of the end sections (20) engages in the trim state, which results in locking. The lever element (28) can be mounted in a sleeve (22) connected to the end section (19); it can also be pivotably mounted directly on the end section. <IMAGE>
