[origin: US4635016A] A polarized electromagnet with bi or monostable operation is provided in which two flux channelling pieces of rectangular shape are disposed one in the other and are magnetically associated by means of permanent magnets, whose axes, parallel to that of the coil, pass substantially through the carcase of said coil, inside which slides a core provided with two plates when the operation is to be bistable.

Deux pièces de canalisation de flux (17, 19) de forme rectangulaire sont disposées l'une dans l'autre et sont magnétiquement associées par des aimants permanents, dont les axes (NS, N'S'), parallèles à celui de la bobine (3), passent sensiblement par la carcasse (2) de cette bobine, à l'intérieur de laquelle coulisse un noyau (5) pourvu de deux palettes (8, 11) lorsque le fonctionnement doit être bistable. Ces électro-aimants sont en particulier applicables aux relais et aux contacteurs.
