[origin: EP0174294A2] In a device for cleaning glass panes (8), a conveyor means is provided for the glass panes (8) which has a continuous elongate conveying element (32) on which entrainers (25) which can be swivelled about horizontal axes are provided. In each case one entrainer (25) engages on the rear vertical edge (31) of a glass pane (8). In order to seal the inlet and outlet slots (34, 35) in the housing (33) of the device, in each case one fixed brush (43) and one brush (45) consisting of a plurality of brush elements (46) are provided, the latter brush being swivellably mounted on a horizontal axis (47).
