The device operates with the aid of an impression cylinder (20) which can be driven by a motor drive, the impression cylinder being a constituent of the corrugated board system and the second covering web (16) being passed over the impression cylinder (20), a speed measuring device (19) being assigned to the second covering web, the speed of the drive per revolution being changeable in cycles and a control or regulating device (23) being provided which records the rotational position of the impression cylinder (20) and controls the drive speed in dependence on the rotational position, the spacing of the printing images and the speed of the web. <IMAGE>

Vorrichtung zum Aufbringen von in der Länge begrenzten Druckbildern auf eine Wellpappenbahn mit Hilfe eines Druckzylinders (20), der von einem motorischen Antrieb antriebbar ist, wobei der Druckzylinder Bestandteil der Wellpappenanlage und die zweite Deckbahn (16) über den Druckzylinder (20) geführt ist, der zweiten Deckbahn eine Geschwindigkeitsmeßvorrichtung (19) zugeordnet ist, die Geschwindigkeit des Antriebs pro Umdrehung zyklisch veränderbar ist und eine Steuer- oder Regelvorrichtung (23) vorgesehen ist, die die Drehstellung des Druckzylinders (20) erfaßt und die Antriebsgeschwindigkeit in Abhängigkeit von der Drehstellung, dem Abstand der Druckbilder und der Bahngeschwindigkeit regelt.
