[origin: WO8404835A1] Releasable coupling device (10) having two components (12, 14). Component (12) includes a socket (70) with two axially extending prongs (76) therewithin. Component (14) comprises a casing (24) insertable into socket (70) so that prongs (76) are entered into casing (24) through openings (80) in the casing, for latching the prongs with the aid of latching members (26) within the casing. A release member (42) slidable within casing (24) is movable to extend from the casing for receiving a coin. When the coin is so received the release member (42) can be slid into the casing to cause the coin (50) to engage another release member (40) which acts on the latching members (26) to release latching of the prongs (76) thereby permitting the components (12, 14) to be separated by withdrawal of the casing (24) from the socket (70). During such sliding of release member (42), the coin (50) is moved into the casing (24) and is captured therein by virtue of locking of the release member (42) by engagement therewith by an internal locking element (54) in the casing (24). A locking member (90) extending from casing (24) is coupled intermediate its ends to locking element (54) and is capable of being moved whereby a roller (100) on the inner end of the member (90) engages a prong (76), when the prong projects into the casing (24) by virtue of coupling of the components (12, 14) together. Such movement of the member (90) effects unlocking of the release member (42) by disengaging the locking element (54), for movement of the release member (42) to permit a captured coin to be retrieved from the casing (24). This movement of the release member (42) also causes the release member (40) to be acted on for movement so that the latching members (26) engage the prongs (76) to couple the components (12, 14) together. The locking member (90) is disabled when the components (12, 14) are disengaged, whereby a captured coin cannot be removed from the casing (24) until components (12, 14) are subsequently coupled together.

Un dispositif d'accouplement libérable (10) possède deux composants (12, 14). Le composant (14) comprend une emboîture (70) ayant à l'intérieur deux broches axiales (76). Le composant (14) comprend un boîtier (24) pouvant être inséré dans l'emboîture (70) de sorte que les broches (76) rentrent dans le boîtier (24) au travers d'ouvertures (80) aménagées dans ce boîtier, de manière à verrouiller les broches à l'aide d'organes de verrouillage (26) dans le boîtier. Un organe mobile de libération (42) pouvant coulisser dans le boîtier (24) s'étend depuis le boîtier pour recevoir une pièce de monnaie. Lorsqu'une pièce de monnaie a été introduite, l'organe de libération (42) peut coulisser dans le boîtier pour que la pièce de monnaie (50) engage un autre organe de libération (40) lequel agit sur les organes de verrouillage (26) pour déverrouiller les broches (76) et permettre ainsi aux composants (12, 14) d'être séparés en extrayant le boîtier (24) de l'emboîture (70).
