1. A structural member consisting of a piece (1) having in general the shape of a right parallelepiped of rectangular section and exhibiting at least one flat-bottomed groove extending all along its bottom face and at least one projecting portion extending along its top face and forming a small tongue corresponding with the said groove, characterized by the fact that it includes an inner channel (2) open at both ends and extending right through the length of the piece in parallel with its top and bottom faces.

L'élément de construction (1) (Figure 1) est composé de quatre parties assemblées en laissant un canal intérieur (2) ouvert à ses deux extrémités. Une pluralité d'éléments (1) peuvent être assemblés, pour former une construction démontable, au moyen de montants d'assemblage (7) (Figure 3), qui présentent des tenons (8) pour l'emboîtement aux extrémités du canal (2), formant mortaise, des éléments (1). Les éléments (1) sont rendus solidaires des montants (7) au moyen de vis introduites dans des logements (4) des éléments (1) et des passages correspondants (9) percés dans les tenons (8).
