1. Arrangement for filling a chute (7) with fibre material, in which the chute (7) is filled by collecting fibre material and is of rectangular section, a rotatable opening roller (4) being arranged above the chute (7) with its axis of rotation parallel to a side face of the chute (7) and a feed device (2, 3) for feed of fibre material being located above the opening roller (4), characterised in that a diverter element (8) is provided in the region of the fibre material leaving the opening roller (4) and serves to divert the material from its direction of flight and into the interior of the chute (7) while dissipating part of the kinetic energy of the material.

Die vorliegende Anordnung betrifft das Füllen eines Schachtes (7) mit Fasermaterial, bei welcher das letztere von einer Oeffnerwalze (4) ins Innere eines Schachtes (7) befördert wird. Als Folge der grossen Geschwindigkeit des von der Walze (4) wegfliegenden Fasermaterials ist die Dichte und die räumliche Lage des im Schacht (7) angesammelten Materials in nachteiliger Weise unhomogen. Gemäss der Erfindung ist ein Umlenkelement (8) vorgesehen, welches die Fasern aus ihrer Flugrichtung ablenkt. Dabei verlieren diese einen wesentlichen Teil ihrer kinetischen Energie. Als Folge davon fallen sie im Füllschacht (7) relativ langsam und sanft zu Boden und verteilen sich gleichmässig über den Schachtquerschnitt.
