Ducting (1) for the distribution of gases in an enclosed space, in particular for the distribution of air in a locality, having a section which decreases substantially continuously in the direction of circulation of the gas and comprising several openings (6) for the distribution of gas in the enclosed space, disposed at intervals along this ducting, characterized in that it comprises a longitudinal, rigid part (2) in the shape of a gutter of identical transverse shape at least over considerable portions of length and serving as a support for a longitudinal, deformable part (3) covering the said rigid part and connected in a sealed manner to the latter, this deformable part having a width (1, 1') decreasing substantially continuously in the direction of circulation of the gas and during operation being subject to the opposing actions of gravity producing forces directed towards the inside of the ducting and forces directed towards the outside due to the pressure of the gas circulating in the ducting.
