A centrifugal finishing machine is described which has a perpendicularly disposed and pivotably mounted container (11) and a rotation plate (12), in which arrangement, to improve the result of the treatment, the container (11) can be pivoted to-and-fro in a pendulum fashion about at least one transverse axis (15) running transversely to the rotational axis (13) of the rotation plate (12). Es wird eine Fliehkraft-Gleitschleifmaschine mit einem senkrecht stehenden und schwenkbar gelagerten Behälter (11) und einem Rotationsteller (12) beschrieben, wobei zur Verbesserung der Bearbeitungsergebnisse der Behälter (11) um wenigstens eine quer zur Drehachse (13) des Rotationstellers (12) verlaufende Querachse (15) pendelnd hin- und herschwenkbar ist. Der Rotationsteller (12) soll mit einer schalenförmigen Oberfläche versehen sein.
