The rucksack, in particular a school satchel, has a bottom (5), side walls (2, 3), a front and rear wall (4, 6) and an upper opening which can be covered by a lid (7) connected to the rear wall and has carrying straps (43, 44) connected to the rear wall. The bottom (5), side walls (2, 3) and front and rear walls (4, 6) constitute outer walls of a single-piece basic container (1). Die Erfindung betrifft eine auf dem Rücken tragbare, quaderförmige Tasche, insbesondere einen Schulranzen oder Rucksack, die einen Boden (5), Seitenwände (2,3), Vorder- und Rückwand (4, 6) sowie eine obere Öffnung besitzt, die mit einem mit der Rückwand verbundenen Deckel (7) abdeckbar ist, und die mit der Rückwand verbundene Traggurte (43, 44) aufweist. Boden (5), Seitenwände (2, 3) sowie Vorder- und Rückwand (4, 6) stellen Außenwandungen eines einstückigen Grundbehälters (1) dar. Dieser Grundbehälter (1) besteht vorzugsweise aus einem einzigen Formteil, während der Deckel (7) hohlkörperartig ausgebildet ist.
