[origin: US4627642A] The present invention relates to a method for deterring fraud with documents having monetary value such as a PVC substrate having a signature location on the substrate. In the method, a supporting ink layer 2 including a pigment and containing a product that assures it a certain porosity with respect to the substrate is deposited on the signature location; then a transparent, porous varnish layer 3 including a dissolved powder enabling a fluorescence of the desired color to be obtained under ultraviolet light is deposited on certain zones of the first ink layer 2; next a filigree pattern is printed in zones of either the first ink layer 2 or the varnish layer 3, using a silkscreening process and a second pigmented vinyl ink 4. The signature or identifying mark of the owner of the document is executed using a felt-tip pen having an indelible ink, of the type which is indelible to a product such as that sold under the mark "CORRECTOR". This method makes it possible to reveal any attempt at fraud and makes unauthorized reproductions of the documents more difficult.

La présente invention concerne un procédé antifraude pour document de valeur constitué par substrat P.V.C. comportant un emplacement de signature sur ce substrat, et consistant à déposer une couche d'encre de support 2, incluant un pigment et chargée d'un produit lui assurant une certaine porosité, sur l'emplacement de signature; déposer sur certaines zones de la première couche d'encre 2 un vernis 3 transparent et poreux incluant en dissolution de la poudre permettant d'obtenir aux ultraviolets une fluorescence de la couleur souhaitée; imprimer par sérigraphie au moyen d'une deuxième encre 4 vinylique pigmentée un filigrane sur des zones constituées soit par la première couche d'encre 2 soit par la couche de vernis 3. Apposer la signature du titulaire du document à l'aide d'un stylo feutre à encre indélébile à un produit tel que celui commercialisé sous la marque CORRECTOR. Ce procédé permet de rendre décelable toute tentative réussie de fraude tout en augmentant la difficulté de reproduction des documents.
