[origin: ES288877U] This invention relates to a system for the power-assisted opening of parasols, umbrellas and the like comprising a shaft of which one of the ends is provided with a cap on which ribs are articulated in star-like manner, wherein at least one compressed air jack is articulated by its cylinder on a ring fixed to the shaft, while the free end of its piston rod is pivotally mounted with respect to a tab of the rib lying in the same vertical plane as the jack. In folded position, the point of pivoting of the end of the piston rod with respect to the tab lies between the shaft and a line joining the axis of articulation of said jack on the ring and the point of articulation of the rib in question on the cap with a view to constituting a toggle joint maintaining the parasol closed.

Au moins un vérin à gaz sous pression (10) est articulé par son cylindre (9) à une bague (8) fixée au mât (1) tandis que l'extrémité libre de la tige de son piston (14) est montée oscillante par rapport à une patte (13) de la branche (3) située dans le même plan vertical que le vérin. En position repliée le point de pivotement de l'extrémité de la tige de piston (14) par rapport à la patte (13) se trouve situé entre le mât (1) et une ligne (15) joignant l'axe d'articulation (11) dudit vérin à la bague (8) et le point d'articulation (16) de la branche considérée sur la noix (2) en vue de constituer une genoulère maintenant le parasol fermé.
