[origin: WO8504221A1] The spread pin is comprised of a sleeve (1) arranged against the wall of the drilled hole (4) and comprising an inner star-like traversing opening (3) and a smooth or fluted outer envelope which is longitudinally cut throughout a helical line (2). The thus formed threads of the sleeve (1) are displaced upon inserting a screw (6) into the traversing opening (3), the sleeve (1) arranged into the drilled hole (4) of a masonry work (5) being regularly compressed throughout its surface against the wall of the drilled hole.

La cheville à expansion se compose d'une douille (1) placée contre la paroi du trou de forage (4) et comportant une ouverture traversante intérieure (3) en étoile et une enveloppe extérieure lisse ou cannelée, qui est coupée sur toute sa longeur le long d'une ligne hélicoïdale (2). Les filets ainsi formés de la douille (1) se déplacent lors de l'introduction d'une vis (6) dans l'ouverture traversante (3), la douille (1) placée dans le trou de forage (4) d'un ouvrage de maçonnerie (5) étant comprimée régulièrement sur toute sa surface contre la paroi du trou de forage.
