A series of lamp units (A, B, C) is used to constitute a decorative hanging light appts. Each unit consists of a pair of electrically conductive frame wires each forming a hook at its upper (1a) and lower (1b) ends to permit hook-on connection to other units. A light bulb is retained in the upper portion of the unit by insulating material and has its electrodes connected to the frame wires. The upper end hooks of the uppermost unit in the series are hooked onto hook elements (6) that are fixed to the ceiling and connect to a power supply. If required, a lampshade (8), etc. may be provided around a unit or a spacer (7) simply consisting of two parallel hook-ended wires may be provided between two units.

Décoration lumineuse suspendue à un plafond, formée en couplant en hauteur une pluralité d'unités d'éclairage. Chaque unité d'éclairage possède deux organes d'engagement pourvus de crochets aux deux extrémités et composés de conducteurs et de câbles d'électrodes d'ampoules connectés aux organes de manière à coupler les unités respectives et éliminer le travail de câblage. Le crochet supérieur d'une unité s'engage dans le crochet inférieur de l'unité au-dessus et effectue un couplage, permettant d'assembler la décoration lumineuse suspendue.
