1. An electronic time switch having an electrical connecting device (2, 3) which is arranged directly on the housing (1) of the time switch, in particular consisting of a plug (2) and a socket (3) which is arranged so as to extend coaxially with the plug (2), having an opto-electronic display module (4) which provides a digital display and having a keyboard (11) which consists of a plurality of keys and is used for the input/programming of the switching times and the setting of the clock time, characterised in that the display surface (9) of the display module (4), in particular the display module (4), is mounted so as to be rotatable with respect to the front side (8) of the time switch and/or the connecting device (2, 3), and that the axis of rotation (6, 7) or the axes of rotation (6, 7) is/are arranged to extend horizontally and/or vertically.

Bei einer elektronischen Schaltuhr mit am Gehäuse der Uhr unmittelbar angeordneter elektrischer Anschlußvorrichtung, insbesondere mit einem Stecker und mit einer, zum Stecker koaxial verlaufend vorgesehenen, Steckdose, mit einem digitalanzeigenden, optoelektronischen Anzeigemodul und mit einem aus mehreren Tasten bestehenden Tastenfeld zur Eingabe/Programmierung der Schaltzeiten und zum Stellen der Uhrzeit ist, gemäß der Erfindung, der Anzeigemodul (4), insbesondere die Anzeigefläche (9) des Moduls (4) zur Schaltuhrvorderseite (8) und/oder zur Anschlußvorrichtung verdrehbar gelagert, wobei die Verdrehungsachsen (6 und/oder 7) horizontal und/oder vertikal verlaufend angeordnet sind.
