Abstract (en)
1. A ski binding-ski boot combination for a cross-country or touring ski, wherein a holder element (6) for a ski boot (11) to be inserted into the ski binding (1) is mounted for pivoting against the force of a first spring (9) on a base member (4) of the ski binding (1) adapted to be secured to a ski (2), said ski boot (11) being provided with a detent member formed as a transverse axis (14) adapted to be retained on said holder element (6) by a locking member (7) biased by a second spring (8) in the closing direction, said second spring (8) being disposed between said holder element (6) and said locking member (7), said ski boot (11) when inserted into said ski binding (1) being pivotable during a skiing stride together with said holder element (6) and said locking member (7) against the force of said first spring (8), characterized in that said locking member (7) is mounted in a per se known manner on the axis (5) about which said holder element (6) is pivotable, the side of said locking member (7) facing towards the ski boot (11) to be inserted being formed with an engagement portion (7e) for positively engaging a support surface (18) of a mounting portion (12) of said ski boot (11), that said transverse axis (14) acting as said detent member is adapted in a likewise per se known manner to be engaged with a detent location (6a) of said holder element (6), and that said second spring (8) is housed in a cavity defined by respective vertically extending portions of said holder element (6) and said locking member (7) each provided with a recess (6d, 7d).
