Mounting comprising two brackets (1 and 2) articulated together and each supporting a frame, one (4) of which belongs to the elements forming the back and the other (5) of which belongs to the elements forming the seat, the two brackets (1 and 2) being connected, moreover, to a crosspiece (T) of the chassis of the sofa by levers (6, 7 and 8) hinge-mounted at their ends, on the one hand on the said crosspiece (11) and on the other hand on each of the brackets (1) and (2), a return spring (15) being provided to bring the articulated mounting into the position in which the two abovementioned frames form a sofa. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un mécanisme d'articulation pour un lit-divan comprenant deux cornières (1 et 2) articulées entre elles et supportant chacune un cadre appartenant l'un, (4), aux éléments formant dossier et l'autre, (5), aux éléments formant siège, les deux cornières (1 et 2) étant reliées d'autre part à une traverse (T) du chàssis du lit-divan par des leviers (6, 7 et 8) montés à charnière à leurs extrémités d'une part sur ladite traverse (11) et d'autre part sur chacune des cornières (1) et (2), un ressort de rappel (15) étant prévu pour ramener le mécanisme d'articulation dans la position dans laquelle les deux cadres précités forment un divan.
