Abstract (en)
The present invention concerns a guiding device such as a roller transport unit, especially for metal strips, for the purpose of maintaining the head of the strip close to the pass line. This device comprises a ribbing apparatus which is retractable from the head of the strip and disposed between an upstream unit such as the output of a strip mill and a downstream unit such as a winding unit. The apparatus placed close to the upstream unit comprises two ribbing rollers (9, 10) each equipped with an approximately complementary relief in order to rib longitudinally the head of the strip and thus to prevent it from deviating from the pass line in order to ensure its correct introduction into the downstream apparatus. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne une installation perfectionnée d'acheminement telle qu'un banc de transport à rouleaux, notamment pour bandes métalliques, visant à maintenir la tête des bandes au voisinage de la ligne de passe. Cette installation comprend un dispositif de nervurage escamotable de la tête des bandes disposé entre un poste amont tel que la sortie d'un train de laminage et un poste aval tel qu'un poste de bobinage. Le dispositif place à proximité du poste amont comprend deux rouleaux de nervurage (9, 10) équipés chacun d'un relief à peu près complémentaire, pour nervurer longitudinalement la tête des bandes et l'empêcher ainsi de s'ecarter de la ligne de passe, afin d'en assurer l'introduction correcte dans le dispositif aval.
