Abstract (en)
1. A method of controlling the combustion of warm unheated top gases, whose calorific value varies considerably, of a hot blast cupola or the like in a combustion chamber which is disposed after the cupola, is supplied with combustion supporting air and has an additional burner, the actual temperature of the flame being measured and controlled to a reference temperature whose value is in turn controlled by the measured temperature of the combustion chamber wall.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Steuern der Verbrennung der einen stark schwankenden Heizwert aufweisenden, warmen, ungereinigten Gichtgase eines Heißwind-Kupolofens od.dgl. in einer diesem nachgeordneten, mit Verbrennungsluft beschickten und mit einem Zusatzbrenner ausgerüsteten Brennkammer, wobei die Ist-Temperatur der Flamme gemessen und auf eine Soll-Temperatur gesteuert wird, deren Größe ihrerseits von der ebenfalls gemessenen Temperatur der Brennkammerwandung gesteuert wird.
