Abstract (en)
1. One piece, pre-scored blank composed of foldable material such as cardboard, corrugated cardboard or the like for a cup or stack tray, which tray is essentially rectangular or square in plan and has a bottom panel (1) ; a apertured panel (2) arranged essentially parallel to and spaced above said bottom panel for receiving containers, e. g. yogurt or milk cups in secure positioning, said bottom panel (1) and said apertured panel (2), of which panels one panel (2) is subdivided into two panel sections (22), being hingedly connected to each other via two tray side panels (3) opposing each other ; two further side panels (4) defining the other two sides of the tray ; securing means (5) holding the further side panels in the erected state ; supporting webs (7) effective as spacers between the two panels in the erected position or the tray and tiltable out of at least one of the two panels ; a first predetermined break line (81) arranged in the undivided panel and extending, in respect of the erected tray, in a plane essentially common with the area of separation between the two sections of said other panel and perpendicular to said panels ; and second predetermined break lines (82), which extend within the area of this plane in the two opposing side panels intersected by said plane, and include between them detachable panel portions (41), characterized in that the second pair of side panels (4) lying within the extension of the first predetermined break line (81) has a panel portion which can be broken out (41) by means of the second predetermined break lines (82), respectively, the second predetermined break lines, in the erected state of the tray (9), being at least partially overlapped by the securing means (5), which securing means are hingedly connected to both of the sections (22) of the other panel (2) and are secured to the panel portions which can be broken out (41) and which securing means can be released by pulling from their hinged connection to both of the other panel sections (22).
