Abstract (en)
A process according to which each purchaser executes all the operations of the transaction. He takes each article in a first trolley, passes it in front of a reading head and places it in another trolley. The correctness of the operations is constantly checked by determination of the overall weight of the first trolley, of that of the second trolley and of the gross weight the article should have, according to coded information carried by this article. Moreover the suitable order of the sequence of operations gives additional security, foiling most frauds. Application to retail shops.

L'invention concerne la surveillance des transactions de détail. Elle se rapporte à un procédé selon lequel chaque acheteur exécute toutes les opérations de la transaction. Il prend chaque article dans un premier chariot, le fait passer devant une tête de lecture et le place dans un autre chariot. La régularité des opérations est constamment vérifiée par détermination du poids global du premier chariot, de celui du second chariot et du poids brut que doit avoir l'article, d'après information codée portée par cet article. En outre, l'ordre convenable de la séquence d'opérations donne une sécurité supplémentaire, déjouant la plupart des fraudes. Application aux magasins de détail.
