The panel comprises a series of mutually articulated panel elements (1), a series of stiffening elements (2) extending between the panel elements (1), a strap (3) for raising the panel, and guide channels (7) on either side of the panel. According to the invention, it is provided that the guide channels (7) have at least over part of their length a width which is greater than or equal to twice the cross-section of a stiffening element, all or almost all the stiffening elements (2) extending into the channel. La présente invention concerne un panneau articulé à ouverture verticale comportant une série d'éléments de panneau (1) articulés entre eux, une série d'éléments de rigidification (2) s'étendant entre les éléments de panneau (1), une sangle de relevage (3) du panneau et des glissières de guidage (7) de chaque côté du panneau. Selon l'invention, on prévoit que les glissières de guidage (7) ont au moins sur une partie de leur longueur, une largeur supérieure ou égale au double de la section d'un élément de rigidification, la totalité ou presque des éléments de rigidification (2) s'étendant jusque dans la glissière. Selon une autre caractéristique de l'invention, on prévoit qu'un galet (10, 12) sur deux a une dimension plus grande que ceux (9, 11) qui lui sont immédiatement adjacents. Application en particulier à la réalisation de portes pliantes à ouverture verticale.
