[origin: EP0178397A2] Braiding machine with two bobbin discs (10, 11) which revolve about a braiding point (5) and two series of thereby entrained bobbins (8, 9), from which two series of braiding threads (6, 7) are taken off. In the course of their contra-rotation, one of the series of the braiding threads (6) is guided around the bobbins (9) of the other series of braiding threads (7) by means of yarn levers (31) and rotating plates (52). Any two adjacent plates (52) also serve as bearing supports for one bobbin carrier (50), each of which carries a bobbin (9) of the second series. <IMAGE>
