A rotor for beater mills equipped with rows of hammers (10) with parallel axes, a plurality of hammers swing-mounted on sleeves (9), the latter being retained in position between rotor disks (2) by means of bolts (8) passing through the sleeves (9) in an axial direction and secured in the outer rotor disks, thus characterized in that the sleeves (9) are mounted in bearing seats (4, 5) provided on the rotor disks (2) and open in the direction of the rotor axle, whereby the sleeves are secured in the installed position by the bolts (8).
